Tabebuia caraiba – Yellow Tab

This semi-deciduous tree is stunning when in full bloom. A medium tree with a rough and sometimes narly trunk, the yellow trumpet like flowers bloom in the spring.

Spathodea campanulata – African Tulip

This large evergreen tree is native to Tropical Africa. The orange flowers bloom fall, winter and spring. There is also a rarer form of yellow.

Solanum wrightii – Blue Potato Tree

A large shrub with flowers that open with a purple color and throughout the day fade to a pale lavender. Native to South America the plant has large prickly leaves.

Sesbania tripetii – Red Wisteria

This small tree has reddish-orange blooms. Needs to be trimmed to maintain shape. Native to southern South America.

Senna surattensis – Glaucous Cassia

One of the more widely used Senna’s in the landscape, this is a small tree with evergreen leaves. The yellow flowers bloom year-round.
